The MyoBio Assessment

Know what you are working with.

Before you decide what to do next, take the time to understand where you are, what may be getting in the way, and what deserves attention.

Book An Assessment
Before Another Run At It

Exercise is easy to choose. Knowing what to do next can be harder.

Anyone can decide to exercise.

But as simple as we want that choice to be, sometimes it takes more than a pair of trainers and a 6 a.m. alarm clock. Or a few weeks away from the gym for that nagging shoulder.

Sometimes the very thing you decide to do is the thing that starts getting in the way a few weeks later.

So before you take another run at it, there are better questions to ask:

01 What is your body ready for?
02 What is getting in the way?
03 What should you do next?
The Assessment

Information before assumptions.

An assessment is for when you want more information before deciding what to do next.

We talk through your history, injuries, work, goals and previous attempts. We look at how you move, where you are strong, where something may need attention and how you respond to coaching.

You get a clearer picture of where you are. I get the information I need to decide what training should look like. And we both get the chance to decide whether working together makes sense.

How We Get There

Questions. Answers. Patterns. Plans.

The assessment is not one fixed battery of tests. What we look at next depends on what we learn along the way.

01 Questions

Your history, work, injuries, goals and previous attempts.

02 Answers

What matters now, what has changed and what deserves a closer look.

03 Patterns

Movement, strength, control, asymmetry and response to coaching.

04 Plans

A direction for training based on what we actually found.

Not A Standard Checklist

The assessment follows what we find.

Not everyone needs the same tests.

We look at movement, strength, control and asymmetry. If something deserves a closer look, we go deeper.

That may mean a different test, a different position, a closer look at how a muscle is contributing, or another way of checking the same problem.

The point is not to run you through a checklist.

The point is to gather enough useful information to make better decisions about what comes next.

01

What we found

02

What deserves attention

A better idea of where training should begin and what does not need to consume your time.

03

Whether we fit

A chance for both of us to decide whether working together makes sense before we commit to the work.

MyoBio Comprehensive Assessment

Then, if the fit is right, we get to work.
